Local address is mandatory in case of MAHARERA Registration

Recently, MAHARERA issued a clarification i.e. Office order making the local address for mandatory for Promoter /Agent for Registration.
All the correspondence of MAHARERA will be dispatched to the local address mentioned while registration.
In the case of director/authorized signatories are based out of Maharashtra, local address of Maharashtra is obligatory.

For procuring RERA Registration in Maharashtra, the local address of Maharashtra is compulsory. Recently, MAHARERA issued a clarification “ Office order making the local address for mandatory for Promoter /Agent for Registration”.

The circular states that for registering projects/agents in Maharashtra, for administrative convenience and in the case of extremity, promoters/agents must have a local address in Maharashtra.While applying online for RERA registration. promoter /agent should enter his local address. If the headquarters are outside Maharashtra or outside India, then also the local address for Maharashtra is required.

All the correspondence of MAHARERA will be dispatched to the local address mentioned while registration.

In the case of director/authorized signatories are based out of Maharashtra, the local address of Maharashtra is obligatory. Maharashtra was the one first state in India which implemented RERA on 01 May 2017. Maharashtra is way ahead in case of implementing RERA as compared to other states.

For ongoing projects, last day for RERA Registration is 31 July 2017. Developers are given 90 days window for completing their Registration with RERA.
